During this lesson, we were experimenting with the half scale mannequins to help with our design development. As I have decided to experience menswear, myself and Elizabeth, used this blue cotton to create various draping garments. We looked at shapes and thought about how we could use these ideas to inform some of our designs. Once we created a draping we liked, then it was marked up and digitised with the Lectra system to create a pattern.
