BUYING FINAL FABRICS FROM LONDON

Katie and Myself made the trip today to London on behalf of our group, to purchase the remaining fabrics for our collection. We went to cloth house to collect the majority of the fabric for our group, collecting Georgia and Lilla's Heavy cotton for their garments and my cotton Linen for my T-shirt and lightweight rib for my bomber jacket.
We bought around 14 meters of fabric and bought 12 or so buttons for garments that were 80p each. After collecting this fabric, we then made our way to Shepherds bush to but Katie and Maria's fabric that was needed for their dresses and lining for Maria's bag.

We went to Goldbricks first to buy Katie's crepe, there was so much fabric in this store! I was amazed by the amount of fabric and different types the store had. We approached a staff member to help us find the fabric, as Jodie, Maria and Lilla, came to London last weekend to get the swatches, so we had a swatch of the fabric and not really any idea where the fabric could be in the store. The staff member found the fabric we wanted but did not have it in the right shade, so after speaking to one of the girls who went last weekend, there was another store 5 doors down that had the right fabric we wanted.
We managed to get the right shade of crepe in the next store, getting the last 5 meters they had!
