Here are all of my designs on the Modaris mannequin, Flo. The ribbed jersey the mannequin is wearing, I made on Modaris. I digitised the pattern pieces for this garments, then fixed them on the system. Once the pattern pieces were ready, I then stitched them together on the computer to then dress Flo in the t-shirt. It was a lot harder than I expected, but so rewarding. Using Lectra and Modaris to create your pattern pieces and check to see if the garment will fit, is an alternative to hand rendering your pattern pieces to then make a toile (mock garment) of the garment. It's a really fun process for me, as I had never done something like that before! But when it came down to deciding out major, I stuck with the traditional pattern making process.
